Nothing is hidden from you Father God.
Nothing done in darkness or secret can be kept from You.
You are the searcher of my heart
You are the keeper of my soul.
Do not forsake me from the tongue of the deceiver
The sword of lies, those who rise up to destroy your will.
Those who mock your Holiness and Words!
You who know the truth
You who dwell in righteousness.
I put my hope and trust in You
Never leave me defenseless and come to my aid
I have been in drought and my friends turned away from me
Give me strength to walk the narrow path
Of obedience to your call for your glory.
Hold me by the hand and lead me
In trust, worship, and wholehearted submission
For You are my righteousness, You have saved me from sin and death
Not even once oh God have You forsaken me
You will never forsake the poor and oppressed
In your time Father I know You will liberate and rescue them!
The weak, the meek, the poor, the elderly, the widow, and the sick
For not even once have You failed in your promises
The battle is yours, I surrender my sword, my strength, and my life
For You have promised in your words
The battle is yours not mine!
Bring it all to light Father God
Make known to them that You are the God who performs wonders
Who hears the sigh of the beleaguered and despondent
Never forsake those who rise to obey your calling.
No matter how hard the call, no matter how steep the fall
No matter how empty the road may seem
No matter how painful and desolate
I will lift up my head and obey your will
Grant me life everlasting
As long as my desire for you lingers
As long as you walk with me through life
I will never be in fear or want
I will not be in desire of the flesh or gain
All I want is a heart that worships and praise you
For as long as I walk each day with you
I know in my heart,
I will never be forsaken!
