Lord you have borne me…
Time after time your hand is upon me
You stirred the waves to flux adrift my disgrace and worries
Your wisdom have revealed untold wonders
Your grace deposed my fear and yoke afar
Your feet have trod my darkest ill and weak valleys
Your understanding concluded and totaled my breath!
Your hands have tendered my barren, filthy years to worth and decency
The redwoods uproot in awe to meet your plans for me
The canyons leap with joy and great expectation to your decree!
I will set mine heart to your presence…
Break open my nerves, omit my flesh- nullify my earthly desires!
Before you I will set mine eyes and wait in longing
My substance and testimony will be a herald before races and nations
My feet’s wings shall soar to the clouds of hope beyond heights and immense measure!
I will achieve the race for you- continents ahead of the sailfish, cheetah or pronghorn antelope
The flocks of frigate birds and peregrine falcons will be fearsome in speed before your works!
The mountains will burst open their hearts and mouth to declare your enormous plans and visions
The heavens will be your scroll; the oceans will be your ink to declare your power and works
For you have made my life an alabaster filled with fragrance
Broken yet paid and fully ransomed!
My story waxed out to become a wonderful chapter of your grace and glory
And my testimony a walk from the Garden of Gethsemane to Calvary and Mt Olives
Beyond my shame, beyond my weakness, afflictions, or unfathomable sins and failures-
You have penned my life to overcome, dwell in your tent
You have carved me in your palm to reign eternal and in your name- Victorious!
Inspirational Verses:
Isaiah 40:31: But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Habakkuk 2:2: “And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.”
John 9: 1-5: As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
My insight & devotion on Pastor Jed Fulinara’s preaching “The Power of a Vision:
I will run the race with stallions. I will endure the beating, the stripping of my flesh, ego, and longing! I am sinful before the sight of men. Boldly I am filthy and destined to perish. But with the wondrous works of God, His love, and redeeming grace- I am priceless! My life will be a herald of His good news, before authorities, kings, and all races!
