Letter to Stardust

Who are you?
To pull my blood from my veins
And rush my heartbeats into battlefield?
You decree my senses to unbecoming
Hence I surge to streams of flames, heat, fire, and nervous oblivion.
You burst my impulses like canyons at war
And gird my skin with your thoughts and substance.
Your arrow is pointed to where my feet yearns to run
Yon and afar!
I am struck like a prisoner of war to my stand and in chain from my desire to comply each moment to your edict and charge.
I wobble at the thought of fear, and my mouth dries from the yearning of
Wanting to fight for live for and surrender to your lead!
As long as you are within my range of supplication, strength, and limits
State your command and will follow!
